Groundwater Assessment and Solutions has extensive experience in mine water management and supply for a wide range of clients and projects both in Australia and internationally. This experience includes projects in the Coal regions of Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria, Iron Ore mines and infrastructure in the Pilbara, Sand mining in Queensland, Gold mining in Queensland, Western Australia and Indonesia, Nickel mining in New Caledonia.
Further we have also been involved in post mining assessments, monitoring and contaminate tracking and have conducted a number of groundwater reviews of Groundwater Impact Assessments and Groundwater Impact Statements for current and proposed mine sites across Australia.
With a thorough understanding of on-site mine water demand, use and management requirements, and with experience in short and long term water planning and environmental objectives we can assist in meeting mine site groundwater requirements. This allows us to address specific operational issues, assist in achieving operational and legislative requirements and liaising with various government departments and other stakeholders.
